Tower of London

Fab day out, especially the Yeoman Warder (free) tour that we picked up as we came in, they are informative and very entertaining. The queue for the Crown jewels looked long when we joined it, but actually moved pretty fast. I wish we had had a bit more time there- we stayed about 4 hours, then had to leave to catch a train, but could easily have spent the whole day, loads to do and see. And the food in the restaurant was delicious too!
Wonderful day!

Having the ticket arranged in advance definitely made entrance smoother and gave us all a head start on the day. The Tower itself has been especially enhanced for families, with multiple interactions to keep children's interest levels high. Don't miss the "Beefeater" Warden's tour which is entertaining as well as informative. The White Tower and Crown Jewels are musts so although you could run through in just a couple of hours to check the Tower off your tour list, even a whole day is not enough to see it all. The Barracks Cafe serves excellent meals. Bathroom facilities were sparkling clean and accessible. Tourist Attraction? Yes. Tourist Trap? Not at all.

Booking was easy and E-tickets arrived as expected, but there was nowhere to buy senior tickets.
Great day out

We booked online for both Tower of London, madame tussauds and bonus of tower bridge, it was great value for money seems to be one of the cheapest sites and was well worth it. You will need to make sure you print your tickets, gives great directions on tube and train etc. Well worth it.

Booking online very easy, able to use Paypal so felt even more secure. Once we arrived at the Tower, you do not have to queue at the ticket offices, you go directly to the Tower booths and sign on the form, date it and that's it, it was very easy. Everyone at the Tower were very friendly, you must join a Yeoman Tour it's very interesting and funny. We arrived there at 12pm and we left at 5pm and we didn't see everything, just the main attractions, so plan a whole day there with a packed lunch (although there is a cafe and stands around)
Make sure you get a family travel card from either railway or tube ticket booth cost £16 for the day and kids under 11 go free, travel on buses and tubes all day, and a reduction for Thames boats.

It was so easy to book tickets through discount London, at such a great price. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Tower of London and would definitely use discount London for tickets in the future.
Worthwhile visit

Enjoyable visit. Went later in afternoon which meant no guided tour (last one at either 3 or 3.30) but the plus was less crowds.

Really enjoyed the Crown Jewels, busy but still had time to look and read about the jewels.
There are a lot of steps but well worth a visit looking around the Tower of London.
A smooth experience in the end

I bought tickets for a friend visiting London from Germany. She was planning a visit to the Tower with two teenagers (child age) in tow. There was some confusion initially, as when the e-ticket was sent to me by e-mail it had my name on it and stated that I would have to sign the printed out ticket on arrival and it would be checked against my credit card at the desk. I was not planning to join my friend on this visit however! I contacted Discount London and the ticket was immediately reissued with my friend's name on it. Further enquiry revealed that if my friend produced her own ID, this would be sufficient to enable her to exchange the voucher. In the event, entry to the Tower was very straightforward (she told me) and ID was not requested. No queuing either! There was a useful cost saving by using Discount London and tickets were booked for a specific date, which suited my friend. Using the Discount London web site was straightforward and when I rang their offices the staff were friendly and efficient. I would certainly use Discount London again.
A wonderful day out

Great price, no queuing, a wonderful day. The highlights were the beefeater tour and the Crown Jewels. Oh and not forgetting the Ravens!
