For the second time I've booked a sightseeing trip out of London with Evan Evans, via Discount London. Last time, last February I joined the tour to Warwick, Stratford and Oxford which was a really memorable tour. This time I booked the tour to Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath. And again full value for the money! Great places to see, great guiding! The guide last time, and this time, were both very entertaining and I learned plenty about the places we visited along the way.
So when I go back to London in February, I will take another trip!
Great day trip out of London.
Christine, 01/10/2014 (Family with teenagers)
My teenage boys and I loved this tour. It was just enough time to have look at each location and was more relaxing than I thought. My boys loved the commentary and all the interesting facts. I would have been exhausted if I had to organise it myself and they would have complained non stop, but I didn't get one complaint all day!
Thanks for a great day out.
Admission to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and the Roman Baths is included in the tour price.
Stonehenge is closed to visitors on 21 June for the Summer Solstice, we will drive past but may not be able to stop.
*Viewing at Windsor Castle is restricted on Sundays. On rare occasions the State Apartments may be closed ..... More details...
There will be a significant change to the route of the Royal Windsor Triathlon, which will directly affect access to Windsor Castle on Sunday 17 June.
Runners will be coming up Castle Hill, turning down St Alban's Street and back. Marshalled crossing points will be in operation which will directly impact access to the queuing area outside the Castle admissions centre.
If you can, it is recommended that you adjust your itineraries to visit Windsor Castle after 13:00 on this day.
For more information on the event route and timings, please visit the Royal Windsor Triathlon website.
